Description

Home furniture store Paul Simon has announced that it is to close its remaining stores with the loss of 209 jobs. The company had been in business for 23 years selling various items of homeware including sofas and beds. The 22 stores which are to close are located mainly in the South-East of England. The business had been hit by the floods which occurred in February 2014 and then was placed into administration on May 14th. The closures will happen over a three week period and all stores are expected to no longer be trading by mid-June 2014.
