The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
New York based financial investment company Onex Technologies announced a €42 million investment in a fish farming project at the north of Crete and the creation of 100 jobs initially.
As reported the company plans to invest ιn large amberjack fish farms, in 15 areas in international waters to the north of Crete and will coordinate its efforts by using Lockheed Martin’s technology for aquaculture in the open seas –“mobilie fish pens”.The investment is expected to create initially 100 specialised jobs (biologists, engineers, food technologists, etc.).
Updated, 02/10/2014: According to a recent announcement in the Greek press, the new fish farming unit in Kriti will start its oerations in the beginnings of 2015.
