Description
Oil and vegetable fat manufacturer Bunge announced plans to close down its unit (named Elmilk) in Szczecinek and cut 160 jobs by the end of August 2014.
Workers who are made redundant will receive a severance package, additionally the company hopes to provide training and professional consultation.
In 2012 the factory was acquired by Zakłady Tłuszczowe ‘Kruszwica’ which is a member of Bunge group. The closure of the plant is part of a larger restructuring programme aiming at changing of the organizational structure of Zakłady Tłuszczowe ‘Kruszwica’.
