European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Euskaltel, a Spanish telecommunications operator mostly located in the Basque Country, is planning to dismiss 138 employees. This will affect staff in the operations department.
The measure is additional to a previous labour adjustment that affected 39 employees.
The unions have brought the case to Preco, a body for resolution of labour disputes.
