European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish-Danish logistics postal and logistics company Postnord plans a job reduction of 450 to 600 employees. This is to affect mostly civil servants and managers in sales, administration and business development functions. The restructuring is due to the merger of the departments for postal operations and logistics.
The full scope of the restructuring process will be given on 31 March when it is presented to the staff.
The ERM previously reported on large job cuts at Postnord in Sweden and Denmark announced in 2012.
