Description

Polish chemicals group Boryszew is to create 250 jobs at its new factory in Toruń. Eventually, the company plans to create up to 700 jobs. The factory is expected to be operational in mid-2014 and it will produce plastic components for the Volkswagen factory in Poznań. The contract with VW is worth PLN 120 million.

It is also reported that the group plans to relocate part of the production from Germany to Poland.

Boryszew group produces chemicals as well as components for automotive industry. The Rayon Factory was established by the Belgian Sociatey in 1911 in Sochaczew, Poland. After the 2nd World War the factory was nationalized. The company Boryszew was established in 1991 as a result of privatization.
