Description

British engineering company JCB will close its Vibromax production site for soil and asphalt compaction equipment in Gatersleben (Saxony-Anhalt) by June 2014 and relocate production to UK and India. All 150 employees will be made redundant. The closure is said to be due to structural shifts in the market.

Talks with worker representatives have been announced.

JCB acquired Vibromax in 2005.
