Description
Bankrupt call centre company Call Expert is partly taken over by three different companies, saving 255 of the company's 756 job positions. Accordingly, 501 employees will be dismissed in Abbeville, Roubais, Paris and La Reunion.
Amiens commercial court sanctioned the take-over plan by the companies Relaytion, IPG and BPOOI. Relaytion is buying the sites at Abbeville (Somme) and Paris, maintaining 196 positions of 522 positions (160 of 480 in Abbeville and 36 of 42 in Paris). IPG buys the site at Roubais (Nord), maintaining 37 of 166 positions and offering internal mobility to 6 employees. BPOOI takes over the site in the Reunion Island, keeping 10 of 48 employees. Furthermore, the site in Corsica will be closed and about 20 employees will be dismissed.
According the sources, the company had offered too low prices and couldn’t meet costs and social contributions.
In mid-2013, the ERM reported on the bankruptcy of the Call Expert site in Langedoc-Roussillon.
