Description
Ljubljana-based steel casting manufacturer Litostroj Jeklo is to cut up to 60 of 294 jobs by the end of June 2014. This is due to a sharp decrease in sales during 2013. In 2013, sales were at half the level of sales in 2012. Moreover, the company is heavily indebted and recently entered the compulsory settlement procedure.
Litostroj Jeklo is part of the Litostroj Group.
The ERM reported on job cuts at the company already in late 2013.
