Description

The private security company Prosegur plans to dismiss 1,500 workers in Spain.

This is part of a cost-savings plan including also wage cuts by 5% - this means that the company is opting out of a national collective agreement in the sector.

The unions have announced various demonstrations to protest against the measure.
