European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Steel and aluminium constructing company MA-TEC is bankrupt, resulting in the loss of all of its 120 workplaces.
This was decided by the insolvency court on 24 January after the reorganisation of the company had failed. The company had entered into administration on 15 January after it had incurred losses in large projects.
The three further companies of the group are not concerned by the shutdown.
