Description
On 3 February 2014 Fokker Services (maintenance and repair of aircraft) announced that it will cut 200 jobs. A more general announcement on the need for restructuring had already been made in December 2013 but the number of jobs that will be lost was higher than the unions had expected. The context of this measure is a loss of turnover and a significant disimprovement of financial results. Negotiations on a social plan have started.
