Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Automotive supplier Luk Savaria is to recruit 300 new employees at its site in Szombathely until the end of 2014. 58 of the positions have already been filled in January.
The job expansion is part of a plan that is aimed at technological development, the restart of a manufacturing unit, and the installation of new production lines at the site. In 2012, the company had announced to create 200 jobs within the same initiative.
LuK Savaria, a member of the German Schaeffler group, manufactures clutches and flywheels in Hungary since 1997.
