The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Chemicals company Perstorp Speciality Chemichals is to cut 62 positions in Perstorp and Stenungsund. This is to affect only white-collar workers.
The job cuts are part of a plan to reduce the company’s global workforce by 111 positions. The company had sold three divisions two years ago and needed to adjust the staff accordingly. The restructuring involves the relocation of some functions to Malmö
Perstorp group employs 1500 internationally.
