Description

Food manufacturer 2 Sisters has announced to create 180 new jobs in Cambuslang (South Lanarkshire).

The hires are needed to support the cooking and processing of chicken products at the plant that will be extended for this purpose. The announcement of job creations followed long term negotiations with trade union Unite.

In 2013, the company had announced both the reduction and expansion of its workforce in the UK. Reportedly, in November 2013, 200 job losses were announced for the plant in Coupar Angus.
