European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Menzies Hotel group will make 155 staff redundant in Gatwick, Luton and Swindon following the buyout of the group by the Topland Group. 49 of the affected jobs will go in Swindon and the rest in Gatwick and Luton.
The buyout secured the future of 12 other sites. Administrators stated that the three hotels were "unattractive to potential buyers" and that they would close by 2 December 2013.
Menzies group is based in Derbyshire.
