Description

ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies, is to create up to 210 new jobs at Trutnov in 2014.

This results from a planned expansion of the Trutnov site where the firm produces protection and control systems of high and medium voltage substations.

ABB group is based in Switzerland. The company has been present in the Czech Republic since 1970 and today employs over 3,300 people in several plants across the country. Globally, ABB Group employs around 135,000 staff.

In 2012, ABB had already announced the creation of up to 400 jobs in its plant at Brno.
