Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German biotechnology company Biotest announced to create at least 300 jobs in Dreieich (Hesse) by extending its production capacities until 2018. This is part of the company’s “Biotest Next Level” investment programme.
Currently, Biotest employs 1,940 people worldwide, 850 of them in Dreieich, where the investment programme shall redouble production capacities.
