Description

Technical service provider Imtech is to cut 300 jobs in Germany in 2014.

This is part of a large-scale European restructuring initiative that already led the company to announce 550 dismissals in Germany earlier this year.

In addition to the job reductions, Imtech reports to reduce other costs in Germany by EUR 40 million in the period from 2013 to 2015.

Imtech employs 5,800 staff in Germany, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Russia, and Switzerland. The company is a subsidiary of Netherlands-based Imtech Royal with 29,000 staff worldwide.
