European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Irish healthcare equipment supplier Homecare Medical Supplies is to cut 80 jobs. Fifty of the job losses are in the service centre in Kiltimagh, Co Mayo; another 15 are to go in Ballyhaunis, with a further 15 losses in Clonee, Co Meath.
As reported, the company has lost a HSE contract involving the supply of health care equipment, disposable and daily living and mobile aids.
Talks are being conducted at present with the 80 affected staff.
