European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In September 2013, British American Tobacco Polska announced it plans to create 500 jobs across Poland by the end of October 2013, mostly in sales, finance and accounting. The tobacco producer is to implement a new distribution strategy introducing direct sales to retailers.
Tobacco Polska is a part of BAT group (British American Tobacco). The company has been operating in Poland since 1991.
