European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Supermarket chain Carrefour is to open a new store in Ferrol (Galicia) and create 200 jobs.
The company is recruiting exclusively unemployed workers from the closer area of Ferrol. Together with the city council, Carrefour had offered preparational courses in order to train future staff.
Carrefour group is based in France, operating 173 hypermarkets and 229 supermarkets in Spain so far.
