Description

Swedish vehicle manufacturer Volvo Group is to cut 900 jobs. The company announced a cost-cutting restructuring plan for its European truck manufacturing operations.

In detail, over the next two years, the company intends to restructure its cab trim operations in Umea and Gothenburg, Sweden which will also have an effect on Volvo’s operations in Blainville, France and Ghent, Belgium.

As announced, 500 - 700 are expected in Sweden (see here).
