Courier delivery services company TNT Express is to cut 623 jobs and to create 256 in France.
Job cuts are reported to affect the three divisions TNT Express France (support functions), TNT Express National (national delivery services) and TNT Express International. The employment effects is to begin in 2014 after the end of the consultation process.
According to the source, the job cuts are part of TNT Express’s new business plan "Deliver!" that aims at cutting 4,000 positions worldwide.
TNT Express is headquartered in the Netherlands, operating 120 centers and employing 4,800 staff in France.
