Description

The road haulage operations of chilled food manufacturer, David Price Food Services, have stopped trading with the loss of 109 jobs.  Both the logistics and food supply sections of the company went into administration, but the sale of food supply business saved 29 jobs in Wallsend and Glasgow.  The administrator KPMG announced that the closure followed a period of poor trading and increased costs, particularly fuel and utility costs.
