Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swedish railway construction and maintenance company Infranord is to cut 400 jobs to adjust its capacity to the market demand.
According to media sources, the measure will affect jobs in management, production and administration and will result in an organisational change of the company structure introducing three operation regions all over Sweden, compared to the six current ones.
As announced the restructuring will have an immediate start and the reorganization is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
For information on a previous restructuring see Infranord-2012.
