European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 4 September 2013, the Commercial court of Tourcoing has decided the liquidation of the printer and paper and paperboard products manufacturer VG Goossens. 127 employees have been dismissed following the Court decision to liquidate the company. The CFDT union explains that the group owner of VG Goosens has transfered activities to Eastearn Europe and that this strategy has had a negative impact on the site.
