Description
The Danish construction group, Pihl & Søn, employing 2,400 persons at global level, announced that due to insolvency the company has had to file a petition for liquidation proceedings. Initially 800-900 jobs were supposed to be lost in Denmark. A new estimation followed due to the sale of a subsidiary company bringing down the figure to 600-700 redundancies in Denmark. Pihl & Søn was an important actor in public-private projects in Denmark.
