On 14 August 2013, tool producer Fabryka Przyrz?dów i Uchwytów Bison-Bial announced its plans to create about 120 jobs in the factory of subsidiary company Hartownia Bia?ystok. The new factory is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2014. The production facility is located in the Bia?ystok Special Economic Zone. The investment is worth 57 mln PLN, but the company will receive 38.8 mln PLN public support from the Operational Programme ‘Innovative Economy’.
Fabryka Przyrz?dów i Uchwytów Bison-Bial was founded 1948 as a state-owned company (privatized in 1998). The company produces workholding equipment such as chucks, vises, milling fixtures.
