On 1 August 2013, Polish e-commerce portal Merlin announced its plans to create 100 jobs at its new headquarters, relocated from Warsaw to Poznań. The new location will be operational in September 2013.
Merlin was acquired by Czerwona Torebka (chain of shopping centers) in May 2013. The new owner plans to develop the portal into the offline world through expanding the network of units in its chain of shopping centers.
