Description

British-owned retailer Marks & Spencer has announced 180 redundancies due to the planned closure of four stores in Ireland.

As announced the stores located in Mullingar, County Tullamore, and, in County Dublin, the Tallaght and the Simply Food stores in Naas and Dún Laoghaire, will close on 17 August 2013.

It is reported that the company is of the view that the four stores are not profitable enough.
