European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
A partnership between the technology SoftInsa, a company of IBM, the municipality of Tomar and the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Instituto Politécnico de Tomar - ITC) will create a Centre of Innovation and Technology (Centro de Inovação e Tecnologia - CENIT) in the city of Tomar. This will create at least 200 new jobs, the recruitment process will involve mainly young ITC graduates from areas of information technologies and engineering.
According to the president of IBM Portugal, CENIT will open in the last quarter of 2013 and will be active in services and in the maintenance of highly-skilled software applications.
