Description
Deutsche Flugsicherung, DFS - the German air navigation services - a company that is under control of the central public administration, plans to cut approx. 600 jobs out of a total of 6,100 ones by 2019. The decision is due to a decrease in number of flights and a declining turnover.
According to the sources the job reduction will take place only by means of natural attrition and most propably will not affect the 1,900 air traffic controllers.
