Description
The US-based online retailer Amazon is to create 600 new jobs at its new logistics centre in Kněževes, near Prague's airport, from October 2013. Amazon has established a subsidiary (Amazon Logistics Park) in the Czech Republic. The company will provide logistics services for the German branch of Amazon.
The above mentioned 600 workers, whose recruitment has already begun, will be working at Amazon Logistics Park from October 2013. Over the next three years, up to 1,000 people should be hired with permanent contracts. 700 workers will be hired periodically as seasonal workers.
