Description

The public broadcasting company Corporació de Mitjans Audiovisuals, which belongs to the regional government of Catalonia, will apply for a Redundancy Procedure affecting 300 employees. 

The measure will affect the employees of the television channel TV3 and those of the radio channel Catalunya Ràdio.

The employees form TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio are calling for 10 minutes strikes every day in order to protest against the measure, while the political parties are discussing the Redundancy Procedure in the regional parliament. Moreover, the worker committee is discussing the possibility of calling for a 24 hours strike during the September 10 and 11.
