Description
Yacht building company Sealine announced the closure of its plant in Kidderminster with the loss of 234 jobs. The administrator appointed by the company has announced that it will be unable to pay redundancy pay to the affected individuals but will assist them in claiming against the government redundancy fund. Following the job losses, Community trade union and local MP Mark Garrnier arranged a job fair to support workers in finding alternative jobs with other employers.
