Description

Car component supplier Magna-Näher, German subsidiary of Magna International, will relocate its production to raise competitiveness and intends to cut 664 jobs out of 800 jobs in Markgröningen. This measure was taken because of decreasing commercial efficiency. However worker representatives emphasize that mismanagement is the main reason for the losses.

Furthermore Magna's European headquarters announced that 40 employees will be taken over by TLT, one of Magna’s suppliers nonetheless remaining at Markgröningen's plant.
