Description
Insurance group Aviva has announced plans to cut 600 jobs. The posts will be transferred to India, while the move is part of the company's wider plans to reduce its global workforce by 6%, as announced in April 2013 (see here). The planned offshoring will affect operations in Norwich, York and Sheffield.
Updated, 21/06/2013 As announced there will be additional 200 job cuts affecting the company’s Albert Square motor injuries claims office in Manchester. The restructuring will take place by December 2013 and the jobs will be transfered to India.
