On 13th June 2013, Polish chemical group Ciech announced its plans to cut about 100 jobs in Soda Polska Ciech in Inowrocław.
The redundancies are a part of larger restructuring programme implemented within the group. Ciech announced its plans to cut over 500 jobs within the group, including redundancies in Soda Polska Ciech (100 jobs), Zakłady Chemiczne Organika-Sarzyna (40 jobs) and in its unit in Govora (116 jobs), in Romania.
The redundant workers in Soda Polska Ciech plant will receive a severance pay.
