Description
US-based automotive supplier Federal Mogul is to cut 91 jobs in its plant in Aubange. The plant specialized in the production of wiper blades currently employs 280 people and as announced 66 jobs will be cut and 25 other temporary contracts will not be renewed. According to the management, the decision comes from the necessity to invest in innovation to remain competitive. The 'Renault procedure' is going to be launched. Unions announced that they will try to reduce the number of layoffs. According to the sources the restructuring shall be implemented in the last quarter of 2013.
