Description
German wheelchair producer Meyra will cut 149 jobs in Kalletal (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company filed for insolvency in March and currently tries to find an investor. Talks with worker representatives have been announced. In total, Meyra employs 413 people.
UPDATE: As announced in September 2013, Meyra will be acquired by Polish Medort-Group. The workforce will be reduced to 240, so that total work cuts sum up to 173.
