European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
State-owned Romanian hydro power producer Hidroelectrica announced the dismissal of 650 employees by the end of 2013. On 21 May the company announced that the first 304 employees had been laid off. Hidroelectrica finds itself in a judicial insolvency process and has approximately 4,800 employees.
