Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Delphi Slovakia, a producer of wireharnesses for the car industry, announced plans to dismiss 331 workers. Redundancies are attributed to decline in orders from customers. According to the company spokesperson, Agnieszka Przymusinska, the company intends to adopt inevitable measures to increase its competitiveness.
