Description

Delphi Slovakia, a producer of wireharnesses for the car industry, announced plans to dismiss 331 workers. Redundancies are attributed to decline in orders from customers. According to the company spokesperson, Agnieszka Przymusinska, the company intends to adopt inevitable measures to increase its competitiveness.

Updated 24 October 2013: According to new sources, the dismissal of some remaining 45 workers planned until the end of 2013 was stopped in October. As to date, there is no information on further proceedings.
