European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The industrial electrical installation company Fauché in Lafrançaise (Tarn-et-Garonne) has announced a plan to cut 80 jobs from a total of 729 ones (the group employs 1,150 people). 56 positions will be cut in Midi-Pyrenees, including 20 at its headquarters at Lafrançaise. The restructuring will be carried out by natural attrition, early retirements and dismissals. The restructuring is attributed due to the decreased turnover (from 125 million euros in 2011 to 104 million in 2012) and decreased orders in comparison to the first quarter of 2012. As reported the works council considered this restructuring unavoidable.
