Description
HSBC has announced that it is to cut 1,149 jobs in the UK as part of a new 3-year restructuring plan. A total of 3,166 jobs will be affected by the restructuring plan but 2,017 staff is expected to be redeployed while 1,149 jobs are expected to be lost. These job losses come on top the 2,200 job cuts announced last year (HSBC-UK2012).
