The Range, a supplier of garden and household appliances, will close its distribution center in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire resulting in the loss of 300 jobs. The company will move the center to Doncaster in a bid to improve efficiency of the business. The center will close in September and the company has started a consultation process with affected staff and stated that it would try to reemploy as many as possible.
