Description
On 21 March 2013, the Commercial Court of Versailles (Yvelines) decided on the liquidation of the call-center company Transcom, a subsidiary of the Swedish group Transcom Worldwide. Transcom France (407 employees) has three sites in France: Montluçon (Allier), Raon-L’Etape (Vosges) and Soissons (Aisne). The three sites will be closed on the 31 March and all the employees (mainly low qualified women) will then be dismissed. As mentioned, the government will help local authorities to find companies able to take over the affected sites.
