Description
British Telecom is to create 600 engineering jobs. The company plans to expand its operations installing household broadband connections. 200 of these jobs are reserved for former military personnel. The company has also announced the establishment of an apprenticeship scheme which lasts 2.5 years for 400 new recruits. This expansion follows previously reported expansions in the number of people working for BT reported in factsheet 20871.
