On 20 February 2013, British global retailer Tesco announced its plans to create 130 jobs in Gliwice in March 2013. On 1 March 2013 Tesco will open a new store at this location.
Tesco has been operating in Poland since 1992 and currently owns over 400 stores in the country and employs nearly 30,000 people.
