The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
National Bank of Greece is to cut 2,000 positions till the end of March 2013. The job losses were set out in a bid to minimize the costs of the acquisition of Eurobank and refer to a voluntary exit plan targeting mostly those employees near to retirement.
